The Theme!

The Theme of This Wedding is Family

Family is very important to the Bride and Groom. It is their intention to honor their families in their marriage and on this day. Here are some tributes to their families that will be a part of their day.

Blue Pheasants

Jenna's dad has been raising pheasants for as long as she can remember. He has been releasing them onto their property and raising the population in their area. Some of these were blue breasted pheasants which is a unique trait. In honor of this and Jenna's dad, guests will see some pheasant inspired features this day.

More Cowbell

Grandma Aggie is rumored to be famous for her cowbells at Clay’s sporting events. So of course we plan to honor her with some cowbells for guests to ring this day!

Grandma Sally’s Gift

Favors at the wedding have been inspired by a gift that Grandma Sally gives her grandkids once they’ve hit a certain age. Some of you may know what this is, but all we can say for now is that we hope you’re feelin’ lucky that day!

The Designer

Clay's Aunt Ally (Right in the photo) has been the artist that has made much of their vision happen! She has designed a custom wedding band for Jenna, which features three diamonds from Grandma Barb's ring (Clay's grandma on Doug's side). She has designed both the save the dates and the wedding invitations based on what the couple liked. She has even touched up this site! It is amazing what she has made happen for the bride and groom, they are proud to share it!

Sonia and Company

For those who may not know Jenna’s mom Sonia used to sing with her Dad (Grandpa Jeff) and a couple of other family friends in a band called Sonia and Company. This was while Sonia was in high school and her twenties. When Jenna asked her to sing at her own wedding, she agreed to as a power duo with Jenna’s sister Jordan! They will be singing a blessing song during the ceremony.

Cake and Cows

As mentioned, Jean makes the best chocolate cake! Clay and Jenna sampled chocolate cake from a couple of places but kept coming back to hers. Jean agreed to make their personal cake for this day seeing as nothing could top it! Doug may also have something up his sleeve for this day related to his years as a beef farmer. He’ll be putting this skill to use at the reception, so stay tuned!
